Rob Grosskopf has always found comfort in the warm glow of string lights and the clatter of pinball machines.

During his years in Chicago and Minneapolis, he regularly met up with friends at local dive bars — sharing pizza, playing arcade games, and soaking in the casual, come-as-you-are atmosphere.
