After years in Kannapolis, Sweetest Beginnings returns to Concord with a new storefront

After roughly two decades and several relocations, Susan McRae hopes her longtime gift boutique, Sweetest Beginnings, has finally found a permanent home.

The local business, which began in McRae’s house selling customized stationery before expanding into a gift boutique, has returned to Concord after spending several years in downtown Kannapolis.

Sweetest Beginnings opened its newest location Oct. 26 at 349-B Copperfield Boulevard, nestled between Romano’s Pizza and Annes Boutique.
