Bae’s Burgers brings its signature smash burgers to downtown Concord
What started as a food truck inspired by a Food Network show has grown into a popular burger joint, with its second location now open inside The District Exchange.
It was in 2018 when Fabian Elmes and his wife, Claire Connelly, were watching “The Great Food Truck Race” on Food Network when they had an idea.
Both were tired of working for other people and wanted to try something new. So why not open their own food truck?
“We were like, ‘We can do that,’” Elmes said of watching the show.
