Cabarrus County Board of Education votes down exam schedule revision aimed at expanding retesting opportunities

A proposed revision to the academic calendar that would have extended four May exam days for Cabarrus County high school students failed to win school board approval Monday, after drawing concerns from board members over the timing of the change and its impact on students and staff.
