Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office earns state accreditation after meeting 116 professional standards

The designation makes the agency only the third sheriff’s office in North Carolina to receive certification through the statewide program.

The Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office has earned state law enforcement accreditation after completing a two-year review process that officials say examined nearly every aspect of the agency’s operations, policies and evidence procedures.
