Cabarrus County Sports Hall of Fame to Induct 14 Local Legends and Seven Championship Teams

Fourteen individuals and seven championship teams — from the 1930s to the 1990s — will be honored Dec. 6 for their lasting impact on Cabarrus County sports.

Fourteen standout athletes, coaches, educators, and contributors — along with seven championship teams spanning nearly 70 years — will be honored Saturday, Dec. 6, when the Cabarrus County Sports Hall of Fame celebrates its newest class at the Cabarrus Arena and Events Center.
