Cabarrus County unveils $560 million budget proposal with no tax increase
The proposed budget includes increased school funding, capital projects and 21 new Sheriff’s Office positions.
Interim County Manager Kelly Sifford unveiled the $560 million recommended fiscal year 2026-27 budget during Monday’s County Commissioners meeting.
The proposed budget maintains the current tax rate of 57.6 cents per $100 of assessed value.
