Cabarrus, Kannapolis voters to decide major bond referendums in November
Countywide ballot includes up to $400 million for public schools and Rowan-Cabarrus Community College, while Kannapolis voters will also decide a parks bond of up to $40 million.

When Cabarrus County voters head to the polls this November, they won’t just decide a slate of high-profile races.
Alongside contests for the U.S. Senate, the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners, the N.C. Senate and the Cabarrus County Board of Education, they’ll also decide whether to authorize hundreds of millions of dollars in borrowing for schools, workforce development and parks projects that could shape the county for decades.
