During an increasingly uncertain time — with full Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits expired, Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) funding expected to lapse by the end of November, and N.C. Medicaid reimbursement rates being reduced — several Cabarrus County residents gathered Monday to sound the alarm.
