Cabarrus trails most large N.C. counties in early voting turnout
Despite ranking 10th in population, the county has the second-lowest ballot total among the state’s 20 largest — and is the only large county with a single early voting site.
Nearly a week into early voting, Cabarrus County ranks near the bottom in ballots cast among North Carolina’s largest counties — even as some counties posted higher totals after offering weekend voting hours that Cabarrus did not.
