Commissioners approve resolution establishing a new home for the revitalized Cabarrus County Sports Hall of Fame

The Hall of Fame, which struggled during the Covid pandemic, currently has 93 inductees and is planning to welcome its 2025 class in December.

The Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners on Monday voiced their support for the Cabarrus County Sports Hall of Fame.

The board specifically approved a resolution backing the county’s “long-standing athletic traditions and excellence,” which included providing a permanent home for the Hall of Fame inside the Cabarrus County Arena and & Events Center.
