Concord leaders push back on Kannapolis proposed transit cuts, warn of “death knell” for CK Rider

The Concord City Council on Tuesday sharply criticized neighboring Kannapolis leaders over proposed cuts to the CK Rider bus system, warning the changes could weaken a transit network many residents rely on to get to work, medical appointments and essential services.
