Concord Middle School continues to face long-standing challenges.

It was the only school in Cabarrus County to receive an ‘F’ grade for the 2023–24 academic year, after failing to meet expected academic growth benchmarks.

These struggles are well known to teachers, students, families, and district leaders — many of whom gathered Monday evening for a community engagement meeting aimed at confronting the issues head-on.
