Concord Police Introduces Civilian Crash Investigator for Minor Accidents

The new role aims to speed up response times and free patrol officers for other responsibilities

Whenever someone in Concord gets into a minor vehicular accident — a fender bender — they won’t see a typical uniformed police officer arrive on the scene.

Instead, they will see Tom Bergeron, a civilian crash investigator with the Concord Police Department.
