Do you hear that? It’s audiologist Dr. Hannah Bell making a difference for hearing-impaired students
“If anybody’s going to be your cheerleader and vouch for you and help you, it’s me,” Bell said about her job.
On her way to work Thursday morning, Dr. Hannah Bell received an unexpected email from a parent about how her child’s hearing aid was not working properly.
Bell, 29, made the trip to Pitts School Road Elementary to examine the student’s hearing aid. Apparently, the aid’s internal mic was not functioning properly; the device needed to be taken to an ENT (ear, nose and throat) clinic, but at least Bell had checked it out first.
