Morris Enters Race Following Mayor Bill Dusch’s Decision Not to Seek Reelection
Steve Morris has long been guided by a commitment to public service.
His experience includes 12 years on the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners — 10 as chairman — along with active involvement on numerous boards and commissions throughout the county.
Though he’s largely been out of the public spotlight since losing his commission seat in the March 2024 Republican primary, Morris is now eyeing a return to elected office.
