Former Commission Chair Steve Morris wins Concord mayoral race

Morris defeats Lori Clay and Alyce Williams in a closely watched race that drew unusually high early turnout and endorsements from both of Concord’s most recent mayors.

Concord voters have elected Steve Morris as the city’s next mayor on Tuesday, choosing him to succeed outgoing Mayor Bill Dusch, according to unofficial election results.
