For anyone who spends much time with John Eller, it quickly becomes clear that he loves public service and the opportunity to help others.
That enthusiasm was evident during an interview Thursday afternoon with The Cabarrus Compass, exactly one month after Eller, 50, began his new role as Cabarrus County manager.
Eller’s wife recently asked him what he enjoyed most about the job. His answer came easily.
“I said, ‘I love coming to work everyday,’” Eller said.
