Kannapolis takes first steps toward potential $40 million parks and recreation bond referendum

During Monday night’s meeting, the Kannapolis City Council took its first formal steps toward a potential November 2026 General Obligation (GO) bond referendum that could fund roughly $40 million in parks, recreation, greenway and facility projects across the city.
