It has been a troubling few weeks for many Americans.

A mass shooting at a Catholic church in Minnesota left two people dead and dozens injured, a young Ukrainian woman was fatally stabbed on a commuter train in Charlotte, and right-wing activist Charlie Kirk was assassinated last week on a college campus in Utah.
