Tim Marburger and his family have been a fixture in the Charlotte-area auto industry for more than 35 years.

Marburger and his wife, Debbie, moved from Northeast Ohio in the early 1990s to open a dealership in Kannapolis, not far from where the family’s current Chevrolet store stands today.

Since then, Marburger has expanded across the region, opening dealerships in Albemarle, Shelby and Forest City, as well as Wytheville, Virginia, and Carolina Auto Warehouse in Concord.

Now, the family is preparing for its latest expansion — and another major investment in Cabarrus County.
