Mooresville staple Bae’s Burgers joins lineup as The District Exchange reaches full occupancy

Husband-and-wife team behind “The Best Smash in Town” are bringing their craft burgers to downtown Concord in early 2026.

What began as a dream sketched out on downtown Concord’s brick-lined sidewalks has now become a reality. The District Exchange, the two-story modern marketplace inside the long-vacant Cabarrus Theatre building at 22 Union Street North, has officially reached full occupancy.
