Mount Pleasant Literary Festival returns with bestselling authors and growing statewide draw

For three days in March, Mount Pleasant will become one of North Carolina’s more unlikely literary gathering places, drawing bestselling novelists, historians, journalists and children’s authors to a festival that organizers say has quickly grown beyond a local library event into a regional celebration of storytelling.
