Pump Social aims to fuel downtown Concord with retro charm and creative sandwiches

AJ and Rachael Donner turned a vacant service station into a community spot for inventive eats and laid-back gatherings

Concord residents AJ and Rachael Donner had long dreamed of opening a restaurant that felt casual, fun, and welcoming to everyone.

“We wanted to offer something that we would be looking for,” AJ said. “Something that’s casual but elevated a little bit just using high-quality products. Something that’s got a fun, kind of funky vibe to it as well.”
