More than a year has passed since Cabarrus County’s newest state lawmakers took office in Raleigh in January 2025. To reflect on that first year — including legislative priorities, sponsored bills and key accomplishments — The Cabarrus Compass sent each lawmaker a set of 12 questions. While no specific word count was required, legislators were encouraged to keep their responses focused and manageable in length.
