Residents near Concord-Padgett Regional Airport may notice smoke and a heavy presence of emergency vehicles Tuesday morning, but city officials say there is no cause for alarm.

The City of Concord will conduct a full-scale emergency response exercise at the airport beginning at 9 a.m. this morning simulating the response to an aircraft incident.
