The Union Sky to bring rooftop dining, cocktails and sweeping views to downtown Concord

For years, Krushani Patel has hoped to open a restaurant in downtown Concord.

The Concord resident and owner of Red Chillez Indian Cuisine previously considered a downtown location for Red Chillez before ultimately opening along Concord Parkway South.

But Patel never gave up on the idea of bringing a restaurant downtown, especially as Concord’s yearslong streetscape project transformed Union Street.

“I was like, ‘We need to do something up there,’” Patel said.

Now, she is preparing to make that longtime vision a reality — several stories above downtown Concord.
