Dr. Sara Newell was announced earlier this month as KCS' new superintendent.
Dr. Sara Newell can personally relate to what many of her seniors at A.L. Brown must be feeling as they prepare for graduation.
Like them, Newell, A.L. Brown’s principal, is also preparing for her own graduation. She is leaving the school she has led for the past four years to become Kannapolis City Schools’ next superintendent; she begins her new job on June 1.
