Two longtime Kannapolis leaders who helped shape the city are retiring

Kannapolis is preparing to say goodbye to two longtime city leaders who helped shape the community through decades of growth and change.

Deputy City Manager Eddie Smith and Assistant Parks and Recreation Director Becky Tolle are retiring after careers that collectively span more than 60 years in public service, including more than four decades with the City of Kannapolis.
