“We’re really in a good place.” Chris Rey on the key developments taking place at Barber-Scotia
The college, which will soon apply for accreditation, has settled its debt with the City of Concord and is preparing to launch several new sports.
Barber-Scotia College has long struggled since losing its accreditation in 2004. The college, though, has been gathering some much needed momentum across several fronts.
Dr. Chris Rey, BSC president, told The Cabarrus Compass in a recent interview that he is optimistic the college will submit its application for accreditation by the end of the summer.
BSC is currently working on making sure all the necessary application requirements are being met.
