When Cabarrus County residents head to the polls this fall, one of the biggest decisions on the ballot will have nothing to do with a political race.
Voters will instead decide whether to authorize up to $400 million in bonds for education projects across the county.
One referendum would authorize up to $340 million for capital projects for Cabarrus County Schools and Kannapolis City Schools, while a second would authorize up to $60 million for Rowan-Cabarrus Community College.
