Young local performers launch Next Act Theatre Company to create space for a new generation
Four Cabarrus-area theater educators and performers have launched a new company aimed at young artists, with plans for a summer production and a broader mission to expand creative opportunities.

For friends Victoria Grelecki, Kiera Whittemore, Mason Livers and Alexandra Scott, musical theater is more than a profession or pastime. It is a part of who they are.
All four, in their mid-to-late 20s, have spent years acting, directing, teaching and building their lives around the stage — drawn to the energy of live performance and the sense of connection it creates.
